Special Bonus - Seeing Keira Grow Up
"Company boss Tom Crellin has double his turnover in just two months thank to his business coach, Pradeep Mohile. And by the end of the year the pair anticipate sale at his IT consultancy will have quadrupled. But best of all, once-stressed Tom now has the time to enjoy a little bonus... his 14-month-old baby daughter, Keira.
Tom's tale was all too familiar to Ology Business Coach, Pradeep - and to thousands of other businessmen and women around the country. After being made redundant for the second time, Tom decided to launch his own business offering IT support to small and medium sized companies. But after a promising start trade began to plateau and soon Tom was working around the clock just to stay still.
"I seemed to spend my life in meeting or travelling to them" Tom said, "When my wife Sam and I discovered we had a family on the way, I had no idea how i'd balance it all with a baby."
Then at a networking meeting Tom, 35, met Pradeep, who operates in Sussex and Surrey for Ology Business Coaching.
Tom said "I'd never considered business coaching as a way out of the rut I was in, but I was very impressed with Pradeep. He helped me form my own views on how to get the business out of the stagnant state it was in - and, boy, has it worked!"
Tom and Pradeep have set a target for the company, Skill-IS of Uckfield, East Sussex, that will see business grow four times by the end of the year. Already turnover has doubled. "The best part is it means I can see Keira grow too. I've got my life back" Tom said.
