Biography:

The past 10 years I've been self employed, with a portfolio of work, facilitating improvement and wide change in a variety of enterprises. During that time I've worked with both large and small organisations and although I enjoyed working with both I found I gained greater satisfaction working with the smaller enterprises. Small businesses can really make things happen, they can be fast and agile. When people decide to make changes the effects can be amazing, and everyone can say ‘Look what we did!'

Being self employed gave me the opportunity to work on many varied and diverse projects. I've been involved in projects from business start-ups to interpreting world class manufacturing methods for small businesses.

When I discovered Ology I recognised the power of being part of a network of people with the same aim. Ology's approach fits real life for business owners better than anything else I've seen.

At the start I thought working for myself meant being able to find all the answers on my own. It took a while for me to realise that this just isn't true, for me or for practically everyone. It's much cleverer to look outside for skills and expertise to fill in the ones I haven't got, or haven't got time to use. I hope I can help my clients come to this conclusion a lot faster than I did!
